Postpartum Doula Service
Why Postpartum Care?
The postpartum period, also known as the fourth trimester, is a special time. These early days and weeks are so raw and beautiful. But also overwhelming and exhausting. Hiring a Postpartum Doula can help parents to adjust to life with a new baby, both mentally and physically.
What Will I Do?
There is a wide variety of things I am willing to help you with. From light housekeeping and meal prep, to tending to your new baby while you rest or shower. I am also willing to offer sibling care, keeping in mind that I am not a babysitter, but I do love reading books and making sure siblings have all the attention they need to also adjust to new life while mom and dad are bonding with baby.
I am trained in supporting early breastfeeding and am an experienced breastfeeding mother. If any big struggles occur I have plenty of resources and referrals to aid in the journey and am ready to support if struggles arise.
